Intro

So I stumbled upon my old blog today (http://isleeptoomuch.blogspot.com/) and remembered how fun it was to post "The random thoughts...of me" way back in the day. I spent over an hour reading each post and remembering things that I probably wouldn't have remembered had I not written them in my "online diary" for the whole world to read. I recall the late night rantings I would write about the frustrations I was having with John (though he remains unnamed in many of the posts), my then best friend with whom I shared a complicated relationship (mostly because I was in love with him) who is now my very loving and adorable husband of almost two years. Along with venting my many frustrations and annoyances about the people around me (i.e. How people can't seem to ever spell "Lynyrd Skynyrd" the right way and how this band is many times mistaken as a person), I would also simply write about the odd and, to me, hilarious thoughts that popped into my head (i.e. the post entitled "Cheerio" that says, "Is it odd that sometimes I think in an English accent?"). Looking back on these posts, I smile. Now, SIX years after my first post was published, I am back. But instead of updating my previous blog, I'd like to leave it just the way it is so it can forever be frozen in time as a window into the mind of the younger version of myself. I'd like to begin this blog not promising that I will post often - because I know I've made that same empty promise before. Instead, I do promise to post whenever I feel that I have something that other people might like to read about. So I guess we'll see what happens.
